the goverment did none of that genius—companies did—and as far as comparing free healthcare to the healthcare of oter companies that is a fail because we are supposed to be the one country that is “free” ,how can we be the same free country when the goverment forces garbage on us—may i remind u that social security will be bankrupt soon? all the money u pay into that u will not get back –hey lets let the goverment run free healthcare because they are doing such a great job ! douchebag

It’s not as strait forward as saying the government is more efficient or the private sector is more efficient. Both have their place. It’s called a mixed economy. However when you objectively compare the cost of public and private helathcare I think it’s pretty obvious which one is more efficient. Also you say that 285K was spent to feed a single person for a year that’s pretty hard to believe. Could you elaborate on WHY it supposedly cost that much?

As far as $40 million for dining facility. Well I’ve seen the contract with Brown & Root subsidiary of Halliburton made under Clinton’s administration. It did cost $40 mil. That’s a fact. The gun in charge was making $180K per year, the first $80K tax free. While military cooks we had in our unit pulled tower guard. Anyway what is your argument? That Gov’t is more efficient than private enterprise? Have you been to City Hall?

The toilet sear part is a little bit tricky to explain. You have to take into the account how many people have to process order before something gets ordered from the time when supply clerk makes an original order to that reaching the final supplier, and its way back to the supply room.

She has a personal Jet – Gulf Stream 3 to fly her around the country. It costs $30 millions and runs taxpayers $40k one way from DC to CA. The last number you can double check but a 70,000 lbs plane traveling 3,000 miles… Sounds about right.

Trust me I wouldn’t shed a tear if multi-million dollar athletes and actors were payed less.

If you say people should be denied for pre-existing conditions then you’re basically saying that people with health complications should not be insured and therefore be denied healthcare. I know you wouldn’t hold that opinion if you were one of those people. I do think government should run insurance. The US is the only industrialized nation that has privatized health insurance and pays significantly more per capita.
